The subject of cannabis and its legality is one of the many contentious issues we have today.
While some states have declared its use legal, many have yet to. A lot of employers require that prospective employees go through tests to determine if they use this substance. In some cases, some organizations carry out frequent tests to ensure that none of its employees use this drug.
There are a number of reasons why many employers do not want their employees using cannabis. This is not the focus of this article but if you want to know more about this, you can check here. What we will be focusing on here is how you can pass this drug test.
We understand that a lot of folks get this substance into their system for various reasons. For some, it helps improve their performance. For some others, it helps with one health condition or the other. It will therefore not be fair for anyone in any of these categories to be canned for this reason.
Let’s start from the beginning.
What You Need to Know about Cannabis Drug Test
Testing for the presence of cannabis in the body is quite simple and there are different ways to go about it. Compared to a lot of other recreational drugs, any of the cannabinoids, which are derivatives from the marijuana plant have a much longer elimination half-life. This means that they can remain detectable in the body for long.
This is because most of these compounds are fat soluble and so they are stored in the body fat, making them present for as long as the fat in which they are stored is still present. This will usually be up to 3 months.
When a drug test is to be conducted, the tester must first determine the parameters for the test. For example, an employer may want to know the current usage status of an employee while a prospective employer may prefer to know a more dated history of usage of an applicant. In each of these cases, different types of testing methods will be employed.
We will look at these in more detail in the next section.
Types of Tests
Like we were saying in the previous section, there are different testing methods that can be employed depending on the details of usage that the tester wants to know. The different test types include: saliva, urine, hair follicle and blood tests.
This kind of test can show the presence of marijuana for about 24 hours after use. In some cases, it can be detected for up to 72 hours after use. The exact length of time will depend on a number of factors which we will look at below.
This is one of the more common testing methods that employers will adopt. It can show usage for up to 3 to 30 days after the drug has been used. Again, the exact length will depend on a number of factors.
This is probably the most sensitive of all the methods for drug testing. While it may not always provide the most accurate of results, it can show usage from as far back as 3 months. This makes it the most suitable for checking for long term usage. The downside is that if a person's hair comes in contact with another person who uses or has recently used marijuana, it is theoretically possible for the person to test positive. This is known as a false positive.
This test is among the most reliable but it is only effective for a few hours after usage. This is therefore used for testing current levels of the substance in the blood.

Factors that Determine How Long Cannabis Can be Detected in the Body
Before we go ahead to look at a few ways to pass any of these tests, let’s first quickly address the issue of factors that can affect how long the drug can remain in the body.
We already stated above that cannabinoids are fat soluble which means that they are stored in the fat around the body. This therefore means that a person who has a lot of fat will retain the compounds for much longer than a person who does not have as much fat.
A person who is very active will also be more likely to sweat more and generally excrete waste from their system faster. This also means that they will be able to remove these toxins faster from their bodies so their detection time will be shorter.
Frequency of Use
The frequency of use is another important factor. Frequent use will mean that the toxins will always be present in the body.
Quantity of Use
This is the last factor we will consider in this article. The quantity of the substance consumed will also determine how long it will remain detectible in the body. The more the quantity taken, the longer it will remain detectible in the body.
How to Pass Each Test
We will now look at the core subject of this article. We will look at how to pass each of the tests we looked at above.
There are two ways to go about this. You can either detoxify using special detoxifiers or you can use a special detox mouthwash. The regular process of detoxification will take a much longer time. If however you will be facing the test very soon, your best bet will be a detox mouthwash.
This product will not remove the toxins, but will mask them for a period during which you can then take the test and pass. Note however that you should use the product a few minutes before the test.
For quick results, you can use synthetic urine. Using synthetic urine means you won’t present your urine at all. The synthetic urine is designed to look like human urine. You are therefore sure of passing the test with this.
A quick way of ensuring you get THC out of your hair so as to pass a sudden hair follicle cannabis drug test is to use a detox shampoo. The shampoo will mask the toxins in your hair so that when it is presented for the test, no drugs will be detected. Just as with the detox mouthwash, it is only active for a while.
This is the trickiest of all the tests. Thankfully, it does not stay for long in the blood. What you can do to ensure it is quickly cleansed from the body is by drinking a lot of water and exercising a lot. You may however not have to worry about this since it is not a very commonly used method.
